Excellent behind the scenes write-up about CAP! This was our first Tales of the Cocktail and, as “Media”, no matter of pre-event research and planning could have prepared us for what ensued! I wish we had known about CAP and had done our own little behind the scenes investigation during Tales. Seems like you kids worked extremely hard. Thank you so much for making Tales such an amazing and successful experience! Cheers!

Hey, great site. The Martinez deserves to be revived!

One comment — the ingredients in the recipe and photo of the Agent 99 don’t match the ingredients in the photo’s caption. Something’s awry there.

Also — I don’t know if you have a brand relationship to deal with, but Luxardo Maraschino is far superior to Marasca. The Luxardo version is more floral. The Marasca has a sort of funky barnyard overtone that reminds me of Chinese sorghum whiskey (e.g. Mao Tai).

This is some amazing stuff, I think it’s the kind of whiskey which may give people serious pause and consider hopps and it’s possible role in a distillate.

We reviewed it as well and gave it our highest marks. Simply extraordinary stuff.

I sat down with Ronnie Cox, the global ambassador for the Glenrothes. I think we tasted through about 6 or 7 different products, but this one kicked everything’s ass.
